College Prize/Prizes

The College encourages its students to have a healthy competition in their academic performance. To promote such a competition, the following academic prizes are offered:

1. B.D Prizes:


1) Proficiency Prize  Awarded annually to each of those students who secures a minimum average of 70% marks in the examinations of the previous academic year.
2) Upa Kapbuanga Memorial Prize for Bible Knowledge: Awarded annually to the students who secure the highest three marks in the annual Bible Knowledge Examination.
3) C.L. Thansanga Prize  Awarded to the students securing the highest marks in the special college paper – ‘Life and Thought of John Calvin’.
4) Gospel Centenary Prize  Awarded to the student who secures the highest aggregate marks in the whole course of studies.
5) Lianchheuva Memorial Biblical Prize Awarded to the students who secure the highest three aggregate marks in Biblical courses.
6) Lianchheuva Memorial Theology Prize  Awarded to the students who secure the highest three aggregate marks in Theology courses.
7) Rev. Liangkhaia Memorial Prize Awarded to the students securing the highest two aggregate marks in History of Christianity Course.
8) Lt. Col. C. Lalmuana Memorial Prize Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest aggregate marks in Christian Ministry courses.
9) Rev. E.L. Mendus Prize Awarded to the students who scure the highest three aggregate marks in the Old Testament Hebrew papers during the whole B.D. course (excluding Preliminary Hebrew).
10) Malsawma Memorial Prize  Awarded to the students who secure the highest three aggregate marks in the New Testament Greek papers during the whole course (excluding Preliminary Greek).
11) Dr. C. Biakmawia Prize  Awarded to the best out-going student to be selected by the Faculty on the basis of his/her all round performance.
12) Rev. J.M. Lloyd Prize Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest marks in Preliminary NT Greek.
13) Upa Lalhmingthanga Memorial Prize For Social Analysis Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest in Social Analysis paper in B.D. course.
14) Upa Laichhinga Memorial Prize for Communication Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest marks in Communication paper in B.D. course.
15) SCM Prize for Religions It is instituted by SCMI (ATC Unit) and is awarded to the student(s) securing the highest marks in Religions in B.D. course.
16) Rev. Liandova Memorial Prize for Homiletics  Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest marks in Homiletics in B.D. course.
17) Rev. Dr. & Mrs C. Vanlalhruaia Prize for Preliminary Hebrew  Awarded to the sudent(s) securing the highest marks in Preliminary Hebrew paper in B.D. I.
18) R.L. Laltawnga Prize  Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest marks in B.D. Inter Disciplinary Course.
19) Upa Prof. C. Lalkima Prize  Awarded to the Final year B.D. student(s) securing the highest marks in the Library Knowledge Examination.
20) Upa R. Zobela Award for Best Perfomance in CoCurricular Activities Awarded to the best student in Co-Curricular Activities selected by the students by secret ballot at the end of each academic session.
21) Rev. Dr. Zaihmingthanga Prize  Awarded to the best students in Bible Reading Competition (Mizo and English).
22) Upa Rosema Prize  Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest aggregate marks in Counselling.
23) Larry Zothangliana Memorial Prize Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest aggregate marks in Missiology.

2. D.C.P.C Prizes:

1) Rev. C.M. Zalenthanga Award  Awarded to student securing the highest aggregate maks in DCPC course

3. M.Th. & D.Th. Prizes:

1) Proficiency Prize Awarded annually to each of those students who secures a minimum average of 70% marks in the examinations of the previous academic year.
2) Rev. Dr. C. Pazawna Memorial Prize for M.Th  Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest aggregate marks in the M.Th. course.
3) Upa Ngurchhawnthanga Memorial Prize  Awarded to the student(s) securing the highest aggregate marks in the M.Th. Missiology course.
4) Rev. Thanga Memorial Prize  Awarded to the students securing the highest marks in the three M.Th. Departments of New Testament, Theology and History of Christianity
5) M. Suaka Memorial Prize Awarded to the students ecuring the highest aggregate marks in the Old Testament and Religion.
6) Upa Dr. R. Kapthuama Prize Awarded to the student(s) who duly completed M.Th course and Doctoral studies.
